Business Requirements
PCB Piezotronics, Inc. is a designer and manufacturer of microphones, vibration, pressure, force, torque, load, and strain sensors, as well as the pioneer of ICP technology used by design engineers and predictive maintenance professionals worldwide for test, measurement, monitoring, and control requirements in automotive, aerospace, industrial, R&D, military, educational, commercial, OEM applications, and more. PCB Piezotronics, Inc. had been acquired in 2016 by MTS Systems Corporation, a public company. Therefore, PCB had an immediate need to comply with legislation and regulations, such as Sarbanes-Oxley and perform reviews for Segregation of Duties as well as access reviews in their Infor Syteline ERP System. Managing these reviews manually was not practically possible, given the number of users and resulting authorizations.
Solution
The PCB project team evaluated various suppliers. Dynaflow was included in the evaluation because of the track record for Infor ERP solutions, as well as the turnkey delivery. Dynaflow delivered an out-of-the-box solution, allowing PCB to transfer and process the Syteline data into Dynaflow Compliance, performing the conflict scan based on the out-of-the-box Library, and delivering and visualizing the results for further conflict mitigation. All of that within a week. This capability was decisive for PCB to select Dynaflow.
Implementation
PCB opted for an on-premise installation, which was done remotely by Dynaflow staff. After initial training by Dynaflow staff, the team was able to implement and configure Dynaflow Compliance for their processes, including defining owners, testers, reviewers, etc.
Initially, the number of authorizations were beyond what was expected. “Dynaflow was great offering a solution to help us move forward and be able to reduce the authorizations”.
